Job Description

  • Operate company equipment to transport product safely and efficiently
  • Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements set by the Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), etc.
  • Load and unload dry and temperature-controlled goods
  • Meet company goals, including managing MPG, fuel purchases, idle time, and speed
  • Read and understand load paperwork, product, and packaging descriptions

Skills & Qualifications

  • Class A CDL and a good motor vehicle report is required
  • Haz-Mat and tanker endorsements are required (can be obtained during training)
  • Must be able to pass a physical ability test
  • Able to be away from home 3-6 days per week
