Medical Assistant

Job Details

  • Support efficient patient flow by preparing exam rooms, escorting patients, taking vital signs, documenting medical information, and notifying providers of changes in condition 
  • Assist with clinical procedures including ECGs, immunizations, venipuncture, specimen collection, and CLIA-waived testing as directed 
  • Maintain clean, stocked, and safe clinical environments, manages vaccine and supply inventory, and ensures proper equipment handling and disposal of expired items 
  • Communicate effectively with patients and care teams, contributing to a positive experience through professional, friendly interactions 
  • Participate in team meetings, follows office protocols, and performs delegated duties and specialty procedures as assigned by supervisors 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Must have a current Medical Assistant certification or obtain one within 6 months 
  • CPR/BLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required 
  • Must have basic computer proficiency for charting and patient documentation 
  • Relevant soft skills include interpersonal skills, prioritization, and collaboration
