Shippping Clerk

Freedman Seating

Job Description

  • Coordinate all shipping activities, including packing, labeling, and loading/unloading shipments
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accuracy
  • Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading, shipping labels, and packing slips
  • Perform quality checks on outgoing shipments and resolve shipping-related issues promptly
  • Collaborate with logistics and customer service teams to ensure timely deliveries and address customer inquiries

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education and training is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; able to read and interpret picklists and orders
  • Solid math and metrology skills; experience with ERP, WMS, or TMS systems is a plus
  • Relevant soft skills include attention to detail, communication, and collaboration

Education

  • High School Diploma/GED
