Food Service Worker

Job Description

  • Prepare and assemble patient meals, ensuring timely, accurate tray setup and safe delivery to nursing units
  • Support food service operations, including cafeteria setup, cashier duties, and catered events, while providing courteous customer service
  • Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning service ware, equipment, and work areas; operates dish machine and adheres to health and safety regulations
  • Perform basic food prep such as making salads, desserts, and beverages; restocks cafeteria items and ensures food is stored and handled properly
  • Assist patients with meal selections and performs other duties as assigned to support efficient and high-quality food service at SRAlab

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service is a plus, but not required
  • Requires basic math skills necessary to portion proper amounts of food to patient trays, stock food stations, and handle customer transactions
  • Relevant soft skills include interpersonal skills and attention to detail

Education

  • High School Diploma/GED
