Job Details
- Greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and provide general front office support
- Check patients in and out, complete registration, and collect co-payments
- Verify insurance information and assist with other administrative tasks as needed
- Escort patients to exam rooms and document vital signs, medications, allergies, and reason for visit
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vitals, administering injections, and phlebotomy when required
Skills and Qualifications
- Current CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross are required
- Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant with a nationally recognized accrediting body preferred but not required
- 1+ year of relevant experience in a medical office required
- Relevant soft skills include communication and collaboration
