Job Details
- Operate company equipment to transport product safely and efficiently
- Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements set by the Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), etc.
- Load and unload dry and temperature-controlled goods
- Meet company goals, including managing MPG, fuel purchases, idle time, and speed
- Read and understand load paperwork, product, and packaging descriptions
Skills and Qualifications
- Class A CDL and a good motor vehicle report is required
- Haz-Mat and tanker endorsements are required (can be obtained during training)
- Must be able to pass a physical ability test
- Able to be away from home 3-6 days per week
