Job Details
- Work from home full-time in a call center support role!
- Act as a liaison between hospital, health plans, physicians, patients, vendors and other referral sources
- Initiate and manage clinical referrals for pre-authorization
- Verify insurance coverage for radiology and other imaging exams
- Review referrals and follows up for additional information if necessary
Skills and Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced customer service or call center role
- Working knowledge of medical terminology required (candidates with at least one year of experience in healthcare most likely meet the criteria)
- Must be extremely comfortable on the phone and have excellent communication skills; tech-savvy and comfortable with change
