Skill Bridge Trade Program - CDL Training

• Join a free CDL training program for low-income Cook County residents ages 18–24 and earn your Commercial Driver's License at no cost
• Earn while you learn with a $1,300 stipend upon successful completion of the program, with tuition fully covered by Youth Crossroads
• Receive hands-on training from experienced instructors through classroom learning, driving practice, skills training, and observation
• Train in Summit, IL (Week 1) and Bridgeview, IL (Weeks 2–8) while receiving supportive services throughout the program
• Build the skills and experience needed to launch a career in the growing trucking industry and connect with employment opportunities after graduation

• Must be between the ages of 18–24 and a resident of Cook County
• Must attend a mandatory onboarding/orientation session
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required
• Must obtain a CDL permit by August 10 if not already licensed to remain eligible for the program
• Must pass a DOT physical exam (provided at no cost) before beginning training at the Bridgeview location
