Guest Services Usher

• Welcome guests at zoo entrances and buildings, track attendance, and provide expert guest service and issue resolution
• Operate attractions and equipment, including carousel and train, as trained and assigned
• Serve as cashier, accurately handling transactions and maintaining balanced banks
• Perform usher duties, greeting and checking in attendees at events as assigned

• Proficient in delivering a pleasant, service-oriented guest experience and resolving difficult situations effectively
• Able to exercise sound judgment and respond appropriately in emergency situations
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to work well with diverse groups and interact respectfully with supervisors, coworkers, volunteers, and the public
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be at least 17 years of age
