Inventory Specialist

Job Details

  • Receive, stock, and organize merchandise according to Walgreens’ inventory procedures
  • Conduct inventory counts, audits, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy
  • Identify and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods
  • Support loss prevention and shrink reduction initiatives
  • Collaborate with store team members to maintain a well-organized sales floor and stockroom
  • Assist with pharmacy-related inventory tasks as needed, following training and certification

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of retail experience, preferably in inventory, stockroom, or operations roles
  • Ability to obtain Pharmacy Technician Certification within 2 years, including passing the PTCB exam
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow processes, meet deadlines, and work independently
  • Basic computer skills and comfort using inventory systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
