Job Details
- Perform residential framing, including walls, floors, roofs, and structural systems using lumber and engineered wood
- Interpret blueprints to measure, cut, assemble, and install framing components and rough openings
- Ensure all work meets structural standards, remaining plumb, level, square, and compliant with specifications
- Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and framing equipment while following OSHA and company safety guidelines
- Coordinate with team members, inspect materials, report issues, and maintain a clean, organized job site
Skills and Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of residential framing or rough carpentry experience required
- Ability to read blueprints, layouts, and specifications; understanding of basic building codes
- Experience using hand and power tools safely; able to follow work instructions and assembly procedures
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a crew
- Physical stamina for lifting, climbing, and prolonged standing; good communication skills
- High school diploma or GED preferred; valid driver’s license preferred
