Machinist

Job Description

• Set up and operate a variety of machinery including but not limited to manual mills, lathes, saws, grinders, and forklifts
• Make parts and hold them to the tolerances dictated by the print
• Develop a plan of action to manufacture parts according to specifications
• Maintain equipment located throughout the machine shop

Skills & Qualifications

• Skills or experience reading blueprints, fabrication and welding is preferred
• CNC programing and or operating a vertical and horizontal HASS Milling Machine would be a plus but not required
• Must be able to read necessary gauges, take precise measurements, and do calculations
• Knowledge of each machine and its function is an asset
• Relevant soft skills include attention to detail, reading, writing and math

• High School Diploma/GED
