Compensation

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Job Description

Supervise and evaluate public safety coordinators, including assigning tasks, reviewing performance, and recommending disciplinary actions
Coordinate scheduling and assign overtime as needed to ensure adequate coverage
Monitor communications dispatch, CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and radio traffic for UC Medicine public safety operations
Communicate with UCPD dispatch during emergencies and coordinate responses to incidents and service calls
Assign incident report numbers and maintain radio contact with personnel to ensure safety and proper documentation

Skills & Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in security or law enforcement required (in a healthcare setting is a plus)
Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and active PERC card
Ability to obtain IAHSS Certification within 90 days
Successful candidates must complete UCM-provided security training and certifications (e.g., CPR, CPI, Defensive Tactics) within 180 days
