Job Description

Prepare and assemble patient meals, ensuring timely, accurate tray setup and safe delivery to nursing units
Support food service operations, including cafeteria setup, cashier duties, and catered events, while providing courteous customer service
Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning service ware, equipment, and work areas; operates dish machine and adheres to health and safety regulations
Perform basic food prep such as making salads, desserts, and beverages; restocks cafeteria items and ensures food is stored and handled properly
Assist patients with meal selections and performs other duties as assigned to support efficient and high-quality food service at SRAlab

Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in food service is a plus, but not required
Requires basic math skills necessary to portion proper amounts of food to patient trays, stock food stations, and handle customer transactions
Relevant soft skills include interpersonal skills and attention to detail

Education

High School Diploma/GED
