Job Details
- Support efficient patient flow by preparing exam rooms, escorting patients, taking vital signs, documenting medical information, and notifying providers of changes in condition
- Assist with clinical procedures including ECGs, immunizations, venipuncture, specimen collection, and CLIA-waived testing as directed
- Maintain clean, stocked, and safe clinical environments, manages vaccine and supply inventory, and ensures proper equipment handling and disposal of expired items
- Communicate effectively with patients and care teams, contributing to a positive experience through professional, friendly interactions
- Participate in team meetings, follows office protocols, and performs delegated duties and specialty procedures as assigned by supervisors
Skills and Qualifications
- Must have a current Medical Assistant certification or obtain one within 6 months
- CPR/BLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required
- Must have basic computer proficiency for charting and patient documentation
- Relevant soft skills include interpersonal skills, prioritization, and collaboration
