Job Details
- Produce quality candies by following FPC guidelines and maintaining safe, sanitary practices
- Feed kettles with raw materials and cook ingredients to exact specifications
- Load pans and engross centers to proper size and weight using syrup and dry sugar or dextrose
- Adjust controls to regulate temperature, ingredient amounts, and other production variables
Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years of warehouse experience required; food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of General Manufacturing Principles (GMP) required
- Ability to obtain pallet jack and forklift certifications
- Capable of walking, standing, using stairs for extended periods, and lifting up to 60 lbs in a loud environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Skilled in machine operation and troubleshooting issues with process equipment
